Carabao Cup 2nd round draw Live as Premier League sides join

The Carabao Cup second round draw is being held tonight, with Newport County the only remaining Welsh side after Cardiff City and Swansea were dumped out on Tuesday night.

The second round sees some of the Premier League sides join the competition, with the draw taking place after tonight's Sheffield Wednesday v Sunderland match. That is expected to be any time from 9.30pm, although the draw could be delayed if that match goes to penalties.

The Carabao Cup remains regionalised in the early rounds with the draw split into a southern and northern section until round three.

Round two ties will take place week commencing August 22.
