Car fire closes M4 in one direction
Emergency services were called to deal with a vehicle fire that closed part of the M4 on Sunday morning (April 21) near Swansea.
The westbound carriageway was closed as a result between junction 45 Ynysforgan and junction 46 Llangyfelach, according to Traffic Wales. They were asking people to avoid the area and traffic cameras showed queues in the area.
In a 9.34am update, the organisation which monitors the main routes in Wales said that lane two had re-opened but lane one remains closed.
The carriageway completely re-opened just after 10am and congestion had eased quickly.
