Car crashes near railway line after rolling down embankment
A car swerved off a road and crashed near a railway line in Bury this afternoon.
The incident happened by Moss Hall Road at Heap Bridge at around 3.30pm on Saturday (July 23). It’s believed the vehicle veered off the road and flipped before coming to a stop at the bottom of the embankment.
Pictures appear to show the vehicle tilted on its side just metres from the train tracks. It's believed emergency services were called to the scene.
The extent of any injuries is not yet known. The Manchester Evening News has contacted GMP for more information.
