Canelo Alvarez to face Gennadiy Golovkin on September 17 in trilogy bout
Alvarez has decided to fight Golovkin - as originally scheduled prior to his shock defeat against Dmitry Bivol in May - and will defend all four of his super middleweight titles.
Mexico's Canelo and Golovkin have shared 24 exhilarating rounds. The first one was a split draw in 2017 before Canelo claimed a win in their 2018 rematch via majority decision.
Promoter Lou DiBella told Planet Sport this week that 'now is the right time' for the pair to end their rivalry once and for all.
