Canada's Tyler Mislawchuk captured a fourth World Triathlon Cup victory Sunday.

The 31-year-old Canadian completed the 750-metre swim, 20-kilometre bike and five-kilometre run here in 53 minutes 21 second. He earned a ninth career World Cup podium finish.

"Any time you can win a race at this level you have to be pretty happy," said Mislawchuk. "It was my fifth time back and the fifth time was a charm.

"It feels just as good as the first win here."

The Oak Bluff, Man., resident won this event on two other occasions (2021, 2019) and was second in 2022 and '23. Mislawchuk also captured the Olympic test event before the Tokyo 2020 Games.
