Canada's Cassie Sharpe wins freeski halfpipe gold at X Games in Aspen

Canadian freestyle skier Cassie Sharpe returned to the top of the X Games podium on Friday night with a SuperPipe gold medal in Aspen, Colo.

Sharpe, who also took the title in 2019, earned 88.33 points at Buttermilk Mountain for her first victory since returning to competition in September.

The 32-year-old from Comox, B.C., made her comeback after taking a two-season break following the birth of her daughter, Louella.
