Cameras picked up Seth Rollins' savage comment about Kevin Owens' weight from WWE Raw

Seth Rollins made a truly brutal comment about Kevin Owens’ weight during the main event of last night’s episode of WWE Raw.

Last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw Seth Rollins handpick Cody Rhodes’ opponent for the main event of the show.

Rollins chose Kevin Owens, who he has formed a friendship with on WWE TV since the end of last year.

The match ended via countout, with Cody picking up his third consecutive win after returning to WWE at WrestleMania, after six years away.

Fans watching on TV noticed Seth making a truly savage remark about Owens’ weight during the match.

During the bout, with Owens on the outside of the ring, Rollins told his friend to get his “fat ass” into the ring.

Rollins said the comment off-mic, so unless you were listening closely, you may have missed it, but that didn’t stop fans who did catch it from sharing clips on social media.

As noted, Owens ended up getting counted out, giving Cody his third win since returning to WWE, after he beat Rollins at WrestleMania and then The Miz on WWE Raw last week.

Rhodes’ return was extra weighted because of what he’d been up to for the last six years after leaving WWE in 2016.

Cody went on to help form AEW with Tony Khan, the closest thing that WWE has had to a competitor since WCW in the 1990s.

Not many fans expected Cody return to WWE, but as the old wrestling adage goes, ‘never say never’.

Cody will be going one-on-one with Rollins again in a WrestleMania rematch next month at WrestleMania Backlash.

The pair will share the ring for the second time in two months on May 8, when WWE heads to Rhode Island for its first pay-per-view since WrestleMania on April 2/3.
