Burnley vs Manchester City: Prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results

Manchester City could well kick-off at Burnley on Saturday sat in second place.

While that would have seemed an outlandish suggestion only a few months ago, Liverpool could move ahead of Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League title race should they beat Watford in Saturday’s early kick-off.

City, who drew with Crystal Palace last time out, surely have to win all of their games from here.

Burnley, meanwhile, are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table and shocked Tottenham at Turf Moor fairly recently.

If there’s one team capable of sitting back and frustrating City, it’s surely Sean Dyche’s side.

Here’s all you need to know about the game.

The Premier League game is scheduled for 3pm BST kick-off time on Saturday April 2, 2022.

Turf Moor in Burnley will host.

The game will not be broadcast on TV in the UK as it takes place during the 3pm blackout.

Highlights: Match of the Day will broadcast highlights, however, when it broadcasts at 10.30pm BST on Saturday.

Ben Mee remains a doubt for the home side while Nathan Collins is suspended. Elsewhere, Erik Pieters is the only other injury concern as things stand.

For City, John Stones and Ederson suffered knocks while away on international duty, although neither problem is thought to be serious. As it stands, Ruben Dias is the only definite absence.

City simply have to win. Burnley, while a team capable of sitting back, were breached by Chelsea in a second-half blitz and do look slightly more shaky than in previous campaigns.

Manchester City to win 2-0.

Burnley wins: 30

Draws: 25

Manchester City wins: 53
