Burglar climbed into woman's home, grabbed a knife, raped her then made her withdraw cash from ATM in horrific attack
A depraved monster broke into a young woman's flat as she slept before brutally raping her at knifepoint. Courtney Adams clambered in through the window of her city centre apartment before arming himself with a blade from the kitchen.
The 32-year-old burst into her bedroom before forcing her to hand over cash. Adams, after ransacking the room, then raped the woman multiple times after pressing the knife into her face.
He then marched her outside and to a nearby cashpoint - with the blade to her throat - and ordered her to withdraw as much money as she could. Adams then took the woman back to her home and made her climb inside through the window.

Adam's shadowy, hooded figure was caught on CCTV as he climbed over a fence and made his escape.
He's now been jailed for 20 years. "Your sexual, selfish depravity towards her as you tried to get more money is unspeakable," the judge told him.
On November 28 last year, Adams tried to steal a bicycle outside Manchester Business School. Unsuccessful, he moved to a nearby car park, where he used a crowbar to break into a Range Rover.
He stole clothes and bank cards, despite being confronted by members of the public and a parking attendant. Then, in the early hours of November 29, Adams climbed through an open window at a student's flat on Great Western Street.
