Bryson DeChambeau moves sign while on 13th hole of the Masters - ESPN

Bryson DeChambeau will do anything it takes to earn his first green jacket at the Masters — even if that includes physically moving obstacles that lie in his path to success.

During the second round Friday, DeChambeau's drive went right into the pine trees at the par-5 13th hole at Augusta National Golf Club, placing the 30-year-old in a bind.

No one saw his next move coming.

Instead of immediately trying to hit his way back onto the fairway, DeChambeau saw an alternate route. He began to redirect patrons before yanking a sign — which navigates patrons through the golf course — out of the ground that served as an obstacle between the 13th and 14th fairways.

According to the USGA, movable objects are not considered part of the contest and can be moved anywhere on or off the golf course.

Once DeChambeau removed the sign, he was able to hit his way out of the trees to set up a path for the 13th green and punch for 134 yards to secure a birdie.

DeChambeau has since returned the sign. He finished the second round 6 under, tied with Max Homa.
