Browns' Shedeur Sanders to start NFL career wearing No. 12 - ESPN

Throughout high school and college, Shedeur Sanders has worn the No. 2 and even incorporated it into his branding. But as he begins his NFL career, he'll be wearing a new number.

The Browns on Tuesday announced jersey numbers for their rookies, and Sanders will wear No. 12.

Wide receiver and return specialist DeAndre Carter, who was signed earlier in the offseason, picked No. 2.
