Bromley loan signing Dawid Przybylo on target for Sheppey United at East Grinstead Town where Jacob Lambert netted twice in a 3-2 win –Jerson Dos Santos is back and striker Dan Bradshaw is close to a return for the Isthmian South East side

Bromley loanee Dawid Przybylo marked his first Sheppey United start with a goal against a former club.

Przybylo netted for The Ites on Tuesday night in a 3-2 win over East Grinstead Town, a club he spent a short time at earlier this season and where he played against Sheppey.

There have been plenty of comings and goings at Sheppey in recent weeks, since Ian and George Batten took charge, and the new boy is an exciting prospect.

Joint-manager Ian Batten said: “I know Ross [McNeilly, Bromley’s B team head coach] and we get on really well - he’s a Sunderland fan too! They think a lot of him there.

“He’s looked bright and he [also] played a part in the winning goal at Merstham [on Saturday]. We’re really excited about Dawid.”

Przybylo scored Sheppey’s second of the evening at bottom side East Grinstead after Jacob Lambert had opened the scoring. But with the Isthmian South East match level late on, Lambert then grabbed the winner from the penalty spot.

The Ites have found some good form of late and Tuesday’s win followed a 2-1 victory over Merstham on Saturday.

Bromley teenager Przybylo has just agreed professional terms with the League Two high-flyers and adds extra attacking options for the Ites.

Experienced forward Jerson Dos Santos has also returned to the club. Both were handed starts in the midweek match.

Dos Santos is in his second spell with Sheppey after bagging five goals in the 2023/24 season. At 35, he adds extra experience in the forward areas.

Batten said: “He’s a great character in the dressing room. He knows the club. Supporters know him. We needed a centre forward and he fits the bill.

“He holds it up. He’s very experienced and they were two really good signings for us.”

The Ites also hope to have striker
