British soap star arrested on suspicion of child sex offences against five teen boys

A renowned UK soap actor has been taken into custody on suspicion of committing child sex offences amid claims he abused five teenage boys.

The police searched the actor's residence this month over historical paedophile accusations that date back to the 1990s, during which time he appeared in well-known series with some of Britain’s most celebrated actors.

The actor's identity remains concealed. After spending several hours under arrest, he was granted bail, leaving his loved ones, including his significant other, stunned by the shocking allegations, which he denies.

Notwithstanding the severity of the claims, the television figure - famous for his prominent TV roles - insists on his innocence and, after several hours in detention, was let out on bail.

A spokesperson for the police disclosed to The Sun: "Officers investigating allegations relating to the 1990s detained a man.

"He was arrested on suspicion of several sexual offences relating to five men who were teenage boys at the time of the alleged offending. He has been conditionally bailed while enquiries continue."

In the course of the house search, it's reported that officers seized computers and papers prior to detaining him on suspicion of sex crimes against the five youths.

Presently, the probe is zeroing in on collecting evidence pertaining to the alleged abuse of five victims by the unidentified soap luminary, as reported by the Mirror.
