The competition showcases some of the best talents in world football and allows fans to see how their team stacks up against the top teams from various leagues.

In the past, the tournament has treated us to some iconic encounters with many legendary players pitted against each other.

The round of 16 in this year’s competition looks set to offer us more mouthwatering clashes with the likes of PSG vs Real Madrid, Inter Milan vs Liverpool and Manchester United vs Atletico Madrid.
