Brendan Dolan overcomes the Jimmy Hendriks experience at the World Darts Championship
Brendan Dolan is through to the third round of the PDC World Darts Championship after a 3-1 victory over Dutchman Jimmy Hendriks.
Dolan, ranked 26th, comfortably took the opening two sets 3-1 and 3-0 at the Alexandra Palace. However, the unseeded Hendriks fought back to edge the third 3-2 before the Fermanagh man took the fourth 3-0.
A date with either Jonny Clayton or Danny van Trijp awaits Dolan, a quarter-finalist in 2019, in the round of 32 on Tuesday.
Antrim's Josh Rock will also be in action on the same day against two-time semi-finalist Nathan Aspinall.
