A teen was rushed to hospital on Sunday evening following a stabbing in Moss Side. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene, on Rosedale Road, at around 5pm (May 8).

A cordon was immediately erected in the area, which stretched out through an alleyway onto Lloyd Street South, with crime scene investigators carrying out enquiries into the evening. The 18-year-old was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but is now said to be in stable condition.

Officers will remain at the scene throughout the night and have confirmed that there will be an increased police presence in the area following the incident. Numerous CSI vans were seen parked up close to the scene this evening. No arrests have yet been made and an investigation has been launched.
