Breaking Rory McIlroy defends Canadian Open with strong last day
Rory McIlroy saved the best for last as he shot his low round of the week to claim victory at the Canadian Open, and in the process defended a title for the first time on the PGA Tour.
McIlroy went into the final day in a share of the lead, but five birdies by the turn had him ahead in his own right.

He added further birdies at 10, 11 and 12 before a slight wobble where he hit two bogeys in four holes.
But the county Down man steadied the ship, finishing with two birdies to get around in 62 and win by two shots.
