BREAKING: Police and crime scene investigators spotted on Greater Manchester street

Police and crime scene investigators are responding to an incident on a street in Stockport this morning.

Officers have reportedly been on the scene on Bateson Street since the early hours. Pictures show a number of police vehicles and crime scene investigation vans stationed on the road.

Forensic officers have been spotted going in and out of a house. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for a comment.
