Breaking Ireland stun Windies to make T20 World Cup Super 12s

Ireland qualified for the T20 World Cup Super 12s with a superb defeat of the West Indies on Friday morning.

West Indies batted first and set a target of 146 which Ireland reeled in as another scorching performance from Paul Stirling helped them to a nine-wicket win.

It's the second time Ireland have advanced to the next stage of the tournament. They previously managed it in 2009 in what was then the Super 8s rather than the Super 12s.
