BREAKING: Emergency services respond after reports of person in difficulty in water during village duck race
There is a large emergency services response in the village of Broadbottom this evening amid reports that someone fell in the water during the annual duck race.
GMP said they were called to reports of person in difficulty in the water off Hodge Lane. Police remain at the scene.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have sent a water incident response unit and a technical response unit.
Local eyewitnesses claimed the person in the water was a child, but this has not been confirmed.
