BREAKING: Bus station cordoned off with police officers at scene - latest updates
A bus station in Tameside has been cordoned off by police this morning after a serious incident.
Officers are currently stationed at Hyde bus station, near to Clarendon Street. The road running through the station has been taped off.
Multiple police vehicles are at the scene with officers stationed at the cordon. All stands at the bus station are closed.

The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed. The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for information.
In a tweet, TfGM said: "Hyde Bus Station. As a result of a police incident, bus services are currently unable to serve all stands at Hyde Bus Station. Diversions are in place from local stops. Follow your operator for more info @StagecoachGM @BusesOldham."
