Boots shoppers snap up £54 'addictive' luxury perfume that's normally £108
Perfume is a fool-proof gift at Christmas, whether you're buying it for your mum, partner, sister or any teenagers in your family. A nice bottle will always go down a treat but a good fragrance that smells divine and lasts all day can be pricy.
Luckily, Boots has dropped the price of a 'heavenly' designer perfume ahead of December 25. Usually costing £108 for a 75ml bottle, YSL's Black Opium Illicit Green Eau de Parfum by a whopping 50% as part of the health and beauty retailer's Star Gift range. That brings the total to the much friendlier price of £54, for a limited time.
Black Opium Illicit Green is the sister fragrance to the cult-classic Black Opium, and is described as being a 'lighter' version of the well-known scent. Boots customers who have purchased the scent have hailed the 'heady' fragrance as being 'perfect' for wearing from day to night.

The 'sparkling' fragrance was released back in 2022 and offers a 'fresh and vibrant take' on the iconic YSL scent. Of course, the 'electrifying' perfume features the signature Black Opium coffee base but it has also been infused with zesty green mandarin and creamy fig, resulting in a 'mocktail-inspired' spritz.
Other notes prevalent in the 'captivating floral gourmand' perfume, which is housed in the iconic glitter-encrusted bottle, include vanilla bourbon, jasmine, pear and cedar, which blend to create a scent that shoppers seemingly can’t get enough of.
