Boots follows ASDA with maximum £1.50 charge initiative in all stores

High street beauty and health giant Boots has announced it is following in ASDA's footsteps. At a time when millions are struggling to make ends meet, the retailer has introduced an initiative that will come as a sigh of relief to many.

Like ASDA and its Just Essentials range, Boots has announced the launch of its new everyday range of essential products at lowest prices. The lines are all priced at £1.50 or less, and include 60 essentials across toiletries, skincare, dental, haircare and period products.

The launch of everyday is the latest move by Boots to offer the best possible value to its customers. Earlier this year, it announced that it was freezing the price of over 1,500 products as part of Price Lock Promise. The lines, that are all Boots own brand and are made up of customers favourites and essential products, will have their prices frozen until at least the end of the year to ensure they remain affordable for customers.

Boots everyday is available online from 7th September and rolled out to over 1,000 Boots stores across the UK
