Bolton Wanderers player ratings vs Wigan Athletic - Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Dapo Afolayan good

James Trafford - 6

Did not have a great deal to do in the first half except pick the ball out of his net, and did what he had to do when called into action after the break.

Will Aimson - 7

Defensively fairly sound with challenge and though distribution out of the back remains an area to improve upon, put in a great cross for Bodvarsson to nod home equaliser.

Ricardo Almeida Santos - 7.5

Wanderers captain generally came out on top of one v one encounters as game wore on after nervy start. Booked for pushing Max Power over but a solid performance overall.

George Johnston - 7.5

Put in several decent blocks and interceptions throughout against his old side in a good individual performance in the back three.

Aaron Morley - 7

Some nice balls from young midfielder in the middle of the park in his first taste of a Wigan v Bolton game. Generally reliable in possession with lovely range of passing.

Kieran Sadlier - 6.5

Remained in the team but moved to left wing-back to cover the absent Declan John. Struggled in early stages but grew in influenc as the game progressed.

Dapo Afolayan - 7.5

Looked bright at times and drew fouls from James McClean in first half. Much more involved in the second half as Wanderers improved and became one of the chief attacking threats for Wanderers.

Dion Charles - 6

Starved of service in the first half and had difficult
