Bohemians six points clear after win in Derry

Bohemians moved six points clear at the top of the League of Ireland Premier Division table as Declan Devine came back to haunt his former club at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.

Derry, who had 14 corners, only had two shots on target throughout the 90 minutes, as they suffered their second defeat in a row.

The loss also means that Ruaidhri Higgins' side have now dropped 10 points at home already this season.

As for the league leaders, they will be delighted to have bounced back from Friday night's derby loss to Shamrock Rovers with this hard-fought success.

The home side finally had a shot on target in the 54th minute as Ryan Graydon found McGonigle with a somewhat over hit pass, but the striker did well to fire at goal, Talbot parring around the post.
