It's been a fantastic couple of weeks for Cardiff City.

After securing a well deserved win over bitter rivals Swansea City in the South Wales derby, victories over Coventry City and Sunderland have elevated Erol Bulut's men to seventh in the Championship table. Tonight, attention turns to the League Cup, with the Bluebirds taking the long trip up to Lancashire to take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

It seems highly likely that Bulut will tinker with his side for tonight's clash, particularly ahead of the visit of Rotherham United on Saturday, but there will still be no shortage of incentive to claim a fourth straight win in all competitions. There's also the small matter of a place in the next round of the Carabao Cup, where one of the Premier League big boys could well lie in wait.
