Bianca Belair: Jerry Lawler's savage assessment of top WWE star

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler has made a sensational claim about current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. 

Belair has enjoyed a memorable couple of years in WWE at the very top of the women’s division. In 2021 she main evented WrestleMania with Sasha Banks and won the SmackDown Women’s Championship in one the most iconic bouts of the weekend. 

The EST of WWE would go on to famously lose that title at SummerSlam, when Becky Lynch defeated her in just 24 second following her return from maternity leave. 

The two women then clashed at WrestleMania 38 and stole the show as Belair won the Raw Women’s Championship in what many said was one of the best women’s match WWE has ever put on. 

Becky and Bianca are now on course to meet once again at SummerSlam on Saturday and speaking about the match on Raw Talk, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler had some disparaging words for the current champion. Accusing Belair of being nothing more than a long braid of hair. 

Bianca Belair does need Becky Lynch. Because, let’s face it, Bianca Belair, without that title — she’s a one-trick pony. When you get past that long, braided hair, what’s she got? Nothing.

Lawler didn’t let up there either. Continuing to look forward to the match, the former Monday Night Raw announcer heaped praise on Bianca’s opponent, calling Lynch a ‘national treasure.’ 

Becky Lynch, on the other hand — she’s a national treasure. I understand they’re gonna put her picture on the Euro — over in Ireland! It’s amazing. And when she gets that title back at SummerSlam, there’s no stopping Big Time Becks.

The latest instalment to the Becky and Bianca rivalry takes place this Saturday evening at SummerSlam from Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. A card that also features
