Betting: Give Maye, Patriots the edge against depleted Jets secondary - ESPN

Week 11 of the NFL season gets underway Thursday night with a matchup of AFC East rivals when the New York Jets visit the New England Patriots.

The Patriots, led by MVP favorite Drake Maye (+250), are riding a seven-game winning streak and sit atop the AFC East. The Jets have won their last two after dropping their first seven games.

The teams split the season series last year, with both teams winning at home. They will meet up again in Week 17 in New England.

The Patriots are the biggest favorite of the week, giving almost two touchdowns Thursday night.

Matt Bowen, Pamela Maldonado, Eric Moody and Seth Walder offer their picks, prop plays and analysis to help you bet the game.

New York Jets at New England Patriots

Jets team total UNDER 14.5 (-120)

Maldonado: This offense isn't inconsistent, it's broken. WIth Garrett Wilson out, the wide receiver room is producing two-catch, seven-yard afternoons. Justin Fields has athleticism but not the structure. Since Week 1, he is bottom five in yards per attempt, touchdown rate and passing efficiency. The Jets average the fewest explosive passing plays in the league, while the Patriots defense is elite against the run and disciplined in coverage. Trailing as a double-digit underdog only makes the flaws more pronounced. Sustained drives and multiple touchdowns feels unrealistic.

Drake Maye to go OVER 234.5 passing yards (-115)

Moody: Maye has eclipsed this line in five of his last six games, and he hasn't been held under 203 passing yards all
