Benn vs Van Heerden live stream: How to watch fight online and on TV

Conor Benn makes a swift return to action this weekend against Chris van Heerden in Manchester.

‘The Destroyer’ last fought in Liverpool in December, when he once again showcased his formidable power with a brilliant stoppage of veteran American Chris Algieri.

The next step on what Benn hopes is a journey to global superstardom and world title challenges is a clash with former IBO champion Van Heerden.

The experienced South African southpaw has not stepped into the ring since December 2020, when a nasty cut forced a very premature end to his bout against another superstar in waiting in Jaron Ennis.

Also on Saturday’s bill is the European cruiserweight title rematch between Chris Billam-Smith and Tommy McCarthy, while Alycia Baumgardner defends her WBC and IBO super-featherweight titles for the first time against Edith Soledad Matthysse.

There’s also the latest instalment of Campbell Hatton’s budding professional career as he battles ‘The Tipton Slasher’ Lee Glover.

TV channel: Benn vs Van Heerden is being broadcast live on sports video streaming service DAZN. A subscription to DAZN currently costs £7.99 a month in the UK.
