Ben Stokes feels he let himself and England down during the painful 4-0 Ashes defeat to Australia.
The England all-rounder returned to the fold in the build-up to the tour after four months away from cricket, both for mental health reasons and to try and recover from a finger injury.
That led to renewed hope of a rare victory on Australian soil but Stokes, along with the majority of the travelling party, struggled to get near his best form.
He managed 236 runs from 10 innings with the bat and claimed just four wickets, and battled a side strain at the end of the series.
