Belfast City Marathon 2022 results: Official times from 40th anniversary race
Thousands pounded the streets for the 40th anniversary of the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon.
After a wet start to the day, the weather picked up for the majority of racers coming in at the Ormeau Park finish line.
Co Down runner Paul Pollock came first in an impressive time of two hours, 16 minutes, and 13 seconds. Conor Gallagher from St Malachy's in Belfast came in second place in the men's race, just eight minutes and 44 seconds behind.
Gareth King finished in the third-place position.
North Belfast woman Gladys Ganiel came first in the women's race, with Gillian McCrory coming in second-place and Natalie Hall in third-place.
But whether you were competing for one of the top positions, running for a charity or just challenging yourself - everyone should be proud of taking part in a great day for the city.
