Beautiful country walk is UK's most popular - and its half an hour from Manchester
The festive season can be quite chaotic, making the tranquillity of a New Year's Day walk all the more appealing.
Fortunately, the UK is brimming with serene and picturesque locations perfect for such strolls. Fitflop has compiled a list of the UK's favourite walks by analysing the most Googled ones in December 2023.
Topping the list is Dunham Massey in Cheshire, which garnered a whopping 135,000 monthly Google searches.
This stunning country house and garden also feature an impressive 300-acre deer park.
The mini park loop, which is dog-friendly, offers a short but diverse walk (lasting between 30 to 50 minutes) through beautiful gardens, past a large pond, and if you're fortunate, you might even spot some fallow deer.
Belton House in Lincolnshire secured the third spot with 60,500 monthly Google searches.
This magnificent property, used as a filming location for Netflix's 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story', exudes a fairytale-like charm.
Spanning over 1,000 acres, visitors can explore a deer park, grazing sheep, ponds and woodland. The Grade II listed house boasts beautifully restored architecture and houses an impressive collection of art, silver and ceramics.
