BBC Wallace and Gromit fans say 'how satisfying' while watching Vengeance Most Fowl
The BBC showed a new Wallace and Gromit film on Christmas Day and it received a fantastic reception.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl aired yesterday (25 December) on BBC One and iPlayer and saw the return of Feathers McGraw, the evil criminal penguin.
The film has received an incredible 100pc Rotten Tomatoes score and fans have taken to social media to express how much they loved it.
But there is one thing that viewers aren't happy about, and that is how Wallace treats Gromit. Fans have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to complain about it.
@twist395 wrote: "Gromit needs to ditch Wallace already, over 30 years and he’s still being treated like sh***", and @_royted added: "GUYS I LOVE HIM SO MUCH HES SO CUTE LOOK AT HIM WALLACE I WILL KILL U FOR BEING MEAN TO GROMIT".
@sl0thluvr said: "makes me so angry every time gromit gets all the shit and pushed to the side and treated badly because of a new character wallace brings into their life cause gromit always saves the day cause hes such a good friend", and @BRATTYBARBl agreed: "Wallace still treating Gromit like sh***".
But one fan was relieved to see some revenge for the lovable dog. @Sineadwithfada said: "Can’t tell you how satisfying that bit was watching Gromit slap Wallace in the face".
Viewers have dubbed the new film the best bit of TV in the last ten years. @AlbertHltn said: "The Wallace & Gromit Christmas special may have been the best bit of British TV of the last 10 years."
@Jenniezoso said: "Gromit breaking the 4th wall, along with Anton Deck and the chair spin.. wow. Wallace and Gromit: Vengence Most Fowl, has been the best film I've seen in a long time."
