BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse says 'I can finally share' major career move
Oti Mabuse has delighted fans as she revealed her major career move - and it will take her away from TV screens and back to her roots. The dancer and TV star teased she had a big announcement on the way before revealing all.
On Tuesday (September 10) Oti, 34, took to Instagram with a video showing just her legs while wearing a pair of golden dancer’s heels. She could be seen pivoting several times and struck a pose before walking back out of frame.
In the caption, the former Strictly Come Dancing star wrote: "It’s happening… tomorrow," alongside rose emojis while 'tomorrow' was also brandished across a black camera right at the start of the clip.

Now, on Wednesday (September 11), Oti has confirmed her big news - and she's hitting the road. The Dancing on Ice judge will be heading out on a new UK tour, Oti Mabuse: Viva Carnival, next year.
She is set to celebrate the world’s most electrifying carnivals, from the Sambas of Brazilian Carnival to the Tangos of Argentina’s Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia, the dance scene at England’s own Glastonbury Festival and the swing of the Jazz Fest in New Orleans.
The tour will be kicking off in Sheffield in June 2025 and will also see Oti perform at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on June 15, 2025. In a statement, Oti said: "I’m so excited to bring Viva Carnival to the stage! Performing on stage is something I feel so passionately about and have missed so much. Dance has the power to bring people together and I can’t wait to party with everyone."
