BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse shares 'little freak out' in baby update on South Africa break

Oti Mabuse has said she had a 'little freak out' moment while on her first trip with her baby daughter as she shared an update following a break from social media.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star and her husband Marius Lepure, who announced they had become first-time parents on Christmas Day, recently revealed they had taken their daughter, whose name hasn't been shared publically, on a plane for the first time as they headed to visit her family in South Africa.

"Baby’s first flight to South Africa Ready for takeoff with our little adventurer!" she started the caption of her post which featured a sweet selfie of the family-of-three. She added: "Let’s see how many snacks we can devour before we land! #FlyingWithBaby #AdventureBegins #southafrica."

She then enjoyed a period of silence on the social media platform before sharing a video giving a glimpse into her trip to South Africa so far which she posted alongside The Greatest Showman track 'From Now On'. It started showing Oti's excited mum and dad meeting the family at the airport.

Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse was later seen doting on her new niece before Oti and Marius took their little girl to a local nursery. "No internet, put phone away, enjoying home with family, nursery school, sun and food," Oti typed alongside the video before adding: "Hit the rest button and connect to what's important."

But Oti now appears keen to help other new parents who may be taken their babies away as she shared a string of posts to her Instagram Story on what worked - and what didn't
