BBC RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 2024 line-up revealed with Britain's Got Talent star and Manchester queens

Another batch of talented drag performers are being thrown out of the cannon and thrust into the limelight with the eagerly-anticipated return of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

The BBC Three megahit, now in its sixth series, has already made household names of the likes of Danny Beard, The Vivienne, Cheddar Gorgeous, Ginger Johnson, Lawrence Chaney, Divina de Campo, Tayce, Baga Chipz, Bimini and Krystal Versace.

Fronted by the legendary RuPaul, the TV show - a spin-off of the original American series - sees some of the best of the best in terms of the country’s drag acts compete against one another in a collection of challenges that test their fashion sense, performance ability, and comedic chops.

The sixth series will feature twelve new queens - spanning all corners of the United Kingdom, including Wales, Scotland, Belfast, London and, of course, Manchester

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming series and what you can expect in terms of the line-up, the judges this year, and the celebrities set to appear.

Once again, RuPaul will be joined each week by his trusty sidekick Michelle Visage, as well as rotating guest judges Alan Carr and Graham Norton.

Each week, they will be joined by a selection of famous faces on the judging panel and to help the queens with their challenges.

This year, the celebrity guest judges will include TV presenter Amanda Holden, singer Beverley Knight, Derry Girls star Siobhán McSweeney, and Duran Duran legend Simon Le Bon MBE.

Singer Mabel, TV presenter AJ Odudu, Singer Alison Goldfrapp, Steps icon Claire Richaards and supermodel Kristen McMenamy will also be making an appearance.
