BBC in huge shake-up as England Euros final sees fan-favourite show pulled off air

BBC One's TV schedule is set to undergo another huge shake-up due to the Euro 2024 final. The broadcaster's flagship channel has moved its regular programmes to make way for the match, which will take place on Sunday, July 14.

England will face Spain in the highly anticipated European Championship final in Berlin. BBC One will be airing coverage of the football match from 7pm until 10.30pm.

A number of popular TV shows have had to be moved from their usual Sunday evening slots, or even cancelled, to make way for the coverage. Fan favourite programmes such as Antiques Roadshow and Countryfile are impacted by the schedule changes.

Countryfile usually airs on Sunday evenings on BBC One. However, it will be shown at the earlier time of 5.40pm in a bid to make way for the Euro 2024 final.

Repeat episodes of Antiques Roadshow are also typically shown on Sunday evenings on BBC One. Despite the TV programme being hugely popular, it will be taken off air entirely on Sunday.

The Euros has continued to cause TV schedule shake-ups, with popular shows such as EastEnders and Coronation Street having been moved from their usual slots over recent weeks. BBC One is also currently showing coverage of Wimbledon, meaning many regular programmes have been taken off air.
