BBC BAFTA TV Awards 2025 live: Winners and results in the biggest night of television
Some of the country's biggest stars are set to walk the red carpet and hope to take home the win at the BAFTA TV Awards 2025. The most glittering night in British television is taking place tonight with a host of programmes up for big gongs.
This year's awards are dominated by a few big players: Baby Reindeer, the true life-inspired story about a comedian who is stalked and harassed, created by and starring Richard Gadd, dominates the list with eight nominations.
Rivals, starring David Tennant and adapted from a Jilly Cooper novel by the same name, Apple TV’s Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman and Mr Bates vs the Post Office, which led to a public inquiry into sub-postmasters wrongfully accused of theft and gross misconduct after computer error, all have six nominations each.
Mr Bates vs the Post Office also has a strong Welsh link with Alan Bates played by the amazing Toby Jones who lives in Wales and a lot of the series was filmed in north Wales.
Hosted by Alan Cumming - who you can read more about here - the ceremony will also feature performances from Jessie J and Tom Grennan, as well as award-winning concert violinist Esther Abrami for the In Memoriam tribute. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.
