Bavuma is set to travel back home on Thursday due to family reasons and will subsequently miss the Proteas' build-up for the global showpiece.

Bavuma will miss the two World Cup warm-up matches against Afghanistan on Friday and New Zealand on Monday.
Proteas batter Aiden Markram will captain the side in Bavuma's absence.
Bavuma is, however, expected to be back for the Proteas when they start their World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka on Saturday, 7 October, at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The Proteas skipper has been in fine form with the bat, scoring 114*, 46 and 57 against Australia, which saw the hosts come from behind to win the five-match ODI series 3-2.
The Cricket World Cup in India will get underway from 5 October to 19 November.
