Barry Ferguson sets Rangers '30 points' target as Ibrox legend adamant a perfect title finish is required

Barry Ferguson reckons the Premiership title is still well within Rangers ' reach.

But the Ibrox hero has "no doubt" they must win ALL of their remaining games to do it.

Celtic 's slip-up against Hibs on Sunday gave Rangers the chance to close the gap down to a single point.

It looked like they were going to do it too with Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala putting them in control early on against Motherwell, but Graham Alexander's team came roaring back to earn a draw.

Gio van Bronckhorst was left bewildered after his team blew a two-goal lead just days after fending off Borussia Dortmund to make the Europa League round of 16.

They have three points to make up on Celtic and columnist Ferguson reckons they can still do it.

But he believes they will have to beat Celtic twice and take maximum points from their final 10 Premiership games.

He said on Go Radio: "There's ten games left, you've got to get 30 points. No doubt about it.

"Look at the games he mentioned. Aberdeen, Ross County, Dundee United, take Celtic into the equation - 3-0 they got beat - and then you look at it again on Sunday.

"It's disappointing and frustrating. But they've got another game on Wednesday night at McDiarmid Park, St Johnstone are fighting for their lives.

"This is one of these games that I don't care how you play, you roll your sleeves up and make sure you come in after 90 minutes with the three points."

Fellow pundit Davie Provan wasn't convinced though. He believes Rangers don't have it in them to win all their remaining matches - but neither do Celtic.

He does however reckon Celtic may have the advantage with no European distractions after their disappointment at the hands of Bodo/Glimt.
