Barcelona's Adama Traore transfer problem as Wolves sent clear message

Wolverhampton Wanderers have a well-earned rest from Premier League action for a couple of weeks.

Barcelona will have to make a decision in the summer - whether to retain the services of French international Ousmane Dembele, or complete the permanent signing of Adama Traore from Wolves.

Traore returned to Catalonia in the January transfer window on a loan deal until the end of the season, and there was the option for Barca to complete a £29 million transfer in the summer included in the agreement. The Spaniard will have just a single season remaining on the five-year deal he signed when he arrived at Molineux, if he was to return.

He has caught the eye in the early stages of his loan spell; to date, Traore has contributed four assists to Barca’s season in ten appearances spanning two competitions

Wolves fans have been giving their reaction after defender Toti Gomes signed a two-year contract extension with the club until 2027.

Toti has been rewarded for his performances after returning to the club from a loan spell at Swiss side Grasshopper. The Portuguese was bought from Estoril in 2020 before spending the last two seasons in Zurich.

The 23-year-old was then recalled in January by Wolves boss Lage.
