Barcelona 'remain' interested in Man City attacker Raheem Sterling and other transfer rumours
Barcelona reportedly still remain interested in Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling.
The England international saw his future thrust into doubt during the autumn period heading into the January transfer window after his time out of Pep Guardiola's squad. During his spell away from the starting XI, rumours began to swirl with Xavi's side said to be interested in the 27-year-old.
However, they opted to splash the cash on another Blues-man in the form of Ferran Torres. For Sterling, he refound his form and reaffirmed his importance to the Spaniard's set-up.

News outlet 90min report that Barcelona remain keen on Sterling, who is said to be considering his long-term options. With 18 months remaining on his current deal at the Etihad, he is treading close to being in tetchy waters with the potential to leave on a free transfer on the horizon.
With that being said, the report explains that they're interested in a move for the Euro 2020 star and are paying close attention to the contract discussions. Should the talks break down, it could see him enter pre-contract negotiations from January 2023.
