Barcelona negotiating two separate transfer deals involving Leeds star Raphinha

Barcelona are negotiating two separate transfer deals for Raphinha to cover their bases in the summer.

Leeds United are battling relegation from the Premier League despite an upturn in form after the arrival of new manager Jesse Marsch. Despite three wins in his short reign, Burnley have mustered their own comeback - roping the Yorkshire club into trouble.

If the Whites are sent back to the Championship after two seasons back in the top tier, it will mean plenty of problems keeping hold of their best players. Several have release clauses should they be relegated this campaign, including Raphinha.

According to the Telegraph, a £25million release clause will come into effect should they drop out of the Premier League and Barcelona are ready to pounce. In fact, they are wasting no time and are keen to kick off talks as soon as possible.

Ahead of their imminent negotiations with Raphinha, the Blaugrana are aware that Leeds' situation could change dramatically over the next few weeks ahead of the end of the season. If the Elland Road outfit are relegated, Barca will have no problem forking out the £25m necessary to prise the winger away.
