Banyana coach demands improvement before World Cup: 'If you don't step up, we leave you behind'

Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has demanded improvement of her players or risk missing out on the FIFA Women's World Cup squad.

Banyana will face Australia in London on Saturday in what will be their second friendly in preparation for the World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand next year.

"Once we get the core group, we will decide, but we will always leave the door open because other players can raise their hands. We can never close the door, but we will be working with a core
