Banyana Banyana to square up against Nigeria at Cup of Nations

Banyana Banyana will square up against Nigeria, Burundi and Botswana at this year’s Women’s African Cup of Nations.

The tournament runs from 2-22 July in Morocco.

The draw, conducted on Friday evening sees Desiree Ellis’ team pooled in group C.

Nigeria will play South Africa in their opening match on 4 July 2022, the South Africa will then host Burundi on 7 July 2022 before concluding their group C matches against Botswana on 10 July 2022.

The South Africans will conclude their preparations of the finals in mid-June before jetting off to Morocco for their 12th participation in the continental showpiece.
