Charlotte Bankes believes she is peaking at the perfect time as she looks to take her blistering Word Cup form on to the Winter Olympic stage. The Hemel Hempstead snowboard cross sensation is the current World Cup leader and reigning world champion, ensuring she heads to Beijing with that rarest of tags for a Brit arriving at a Winter Games — favourite for gold.
