Tom Daley and Michelle Keegan teamed up to present an award at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday evening. But viewers were left cringing as a joke shared by the pair fell flat.
The Brassic actress and Olympic gold medal-winning diver took to the stage at the star-studded ceremony held at the Royal Festival Hall in London. But unfortunately their banter about knitwear fell flat with viewers.
The awkward moment occurred when former Coronation Street actress Michelle, 34, expressed disappointment that Tom, who is known for his crochet skills, wasn’t dressed in a knitted outfit. Instead he was wearing a striking blue and yellow patterned white suit.
