Rangers supporters will be fuming to see that their opponents should have been reduced to 10-men yesterday as footage emerges from Sky Sports.

The Gers spent the majority of the match yesterday with a man disadvantage when Leon Balogun was shown a straight red card after just 28 minutes, but that didn’t stop Giovani van Bronckhorst’s men from picking up a crucial three points away to Motherwell.

Van Bronckhorst will have known that picking up three points before their title rivals Celtic play on today would have been huge in terms of the league table, but also psychologically as the pressure now heaps on Ange Postecogolou.
