Avalanche sign winger Blidh to one-year deal

The Colorado Avalanche are signing forward Anton Blidh to a one-year deal, it was announced Wednesday.

Blidh spent parts of the past six seasons with the Boston Bruins, scoring two goals and adding seven assists last year in 32 games.

For his NHL career, Blidh has appeared in a total of 70 regular season games, scoring four goals and adding eight assists.

He was selected in the sixth round (No. 180 overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft and is coming off a one-year, $750,000 deal.
