Available Manchester United shirt numbers for January signings after summer window

Manchester United welcomed Antony to Old Trafford on deadline day and, in doing so, brought the curtains down on their summer transfer window. Erik ten Hag sanctioned moves for six players during the window and several have already started to make their mark in the Premier League.

Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen have quickly become mainstays in the starting XI while Brazil forward Antony made the perfect first impression during a 3-1 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon. He scored the opener before Marcus Rashford (two) let loose against the early-season pacesetters.

While his was, perhaps, the most important signing, Casemiro has been restricted to cameo appearances so far and United will eventually see what he has to give in the engine room. As thing stand, though, free transfer Eriksen and Scott McTominay are the men in possession when it comes to central midfield.

Martin Dubravka was brought in to offset Dean Henderson 's loan exit, meanwhile, as United prepare to switch attentions to the mid-season window. Depending on outgoings, here are the shirt numbers currently available to those who follow Antony and company through the Old Trafford doors this January.

13 - A shirt number typically assigned to back-up goalkeepers with Lee Grant and Anders Lindegaard the two most recent incumbents. It was also worn for seven years by Ji-sung Park.

15 - Andreas Pereira, Adnan Januzaj, Nemanja Vidic and Kleberson have all worn 15 in the past 20 years and the shirt is a new option this season. In between his loan spells, Pereira wore this particular number on his back before the Brazil playmaker was snapped up by Fulham.
